Dr Rakesh Kumar Prasad has vast experience in the field of Endocrinology. He has been associated with Indraprastha Apollo hospital, New Delhi as Associate Consultant, Endocrinology from 2004 to 2005. He has worked with Max Hospital, Parpatganj as a Senior Consultant Endocrinology and with Fortis Hospital, Noida as Senior Consultant Endocrinology.

>  MD Medicine (1996 -1999) Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal.

>  DM Endocrinology (2001-2004) Institute of Medical Sciences , Banaras Hindu 

    University, Varanasi,(U.P.).

>  Associate Consultant Endocrinology in Indraprastha Apollo hospital, New

    Delhi from April 2004 to June 2005.

>  Sr.Consultant Endocrinology (Empanelled) Max Hospital, Parpatganj.

>  Sr.Consultant Endocrinology (Empanelled) Fortis Hospital Noida.

 

 

Professional experience:

>  Experience of CGMS (Continuous glucose monitoring system and insulin

    pumps and rich experience of different Isotope scan Sestamibi, MIBG, RAIU etc.

 

>  Extensive experience of various bone mineral metabolic disorder and DEXA (Dual

    Energy X-Ray absorptiometry) scan. Tertiary level experience of dealing with

    different endocrine emergencies, indoor and outdoor patients.

 

>  Dr Rakesh Kumar Prasad has conducted Diabetes Camps on a National Level.

 

>  He has experience as a regional and national faculty in training undergraduate

    students for Diabetes and Thyroid issues.
